I’m the face behind Chemist Captures - a chemist by degree, but a creative at heart. While I’ve always loved science, I’ve learned that my true fulfillment comes from capturing life’s most beautiful moments through photography. I believe the best photos are the ones that feel real and meaningful.
I adore boudoir photography for its vulnerability and empowerment, and couples sessions because I’m a hopeless romantic who loves celebrating love stories. My chemistry background gives me a unique edge - I notice the little details and embrace experimentation to create truly special images.
When I’m not working, I’m likely dancing, crafting, or hanging out with my dog. Let’s capture your story together!

Photography became meaningful to me at a young age, inspired by my late brother who had a gift for capturing the world through his lens. His passion lives on in how I approach each session: with care, intention, and a deep appreciation for preserving emotion through imagery.
While I started taking photos in high school for fun, everything changed when I began volunteering as a photographer for Saskatoon Dog Rescue. That experience taught me how powerful storytelling through photos can be. Since then, I’ve invested in professional gear and committed myself to creating an experience that’s relaxed, genuine, and meaningful for the people I work with.
I’m especially passionate about photographing couples, from casual sessions to engagements and weddings because I believe your connection deserves to be celebrated just as it is. I also love exploring creative portraits and boudoir sessions where we get to tap into self-expression, vulnerability, and confidence in a bold and empowering way.
Whether I’m capturing quiet moments of love or helping you feel beautiful in your own skin, my goal is always the same: to create natural, emotive images that reflect who you truly are.
My brother's money was used to fund a bench and tree in our high school's courtyard. This photo was taken for my photography class in 2015.
Never found without his camera. My brother, Zach, with our great grandmother.
I'm recently married to my partner of 8 years - Kyle!!
I adopted my dog from Saskatoon Dog Rescue and he is my heart.
I love exercising in unconventional ways. I have done aerial hammock, aerial cube, and I am currently focusing on pole!
I was diagnosed with ADHD when i was 19 and it has helped me embrace all the goofy, fun, and creative parts of myself.
In 2024 I began doing bird photography and it is one of the most challenging yet fulfilling hobbies.
I always watch TV while I edit photos - usually some kind of reality TV show or one of my comfort shows that I have on repeat (Big Bang Theory, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Schitts Creek)
If I could travel anywhere I would go to Europe. I have never been before and it has been my dream since I was young.
My ideal Friday night is having friends over for drinks and board games :) I currently own 36 board games (and counting)!
